The Circle of Trust

I don't trust many people. This may come as surprise if you know how many friends I have! It's true though. I have only a little over a handful of people who are in my circle of trust, and a plethora of people of who I deem adequate of my presence. Sounds egotistical I know, but it's true. I'm very particular about who I am friends with and even more particular about who is allowed in the circle of trust. Here's the thing about my circle, it's HARD to get in, and even harder to stay in. If you are lucky enough to earn my trust you better be prepared to be honest, forthcoming, loyal, and true. Some people find this to hard. Some people want to to be in many circle of trusts, and will jeopardize one for another. It's not that 1 person can't be in more than one circle of trust, you can. It's how you go about obtaining entrance into the circles, that shows your true colors, and therefore makes you potentially unworthy of my circle.

Love all, trust a few

So I shall Mr. Shakespeare, so I shall....

Christmas Party

Last night was Jason's company Christmas party. It was nice. Kinda boring, but aren't they always? Jason won a $50 American Express GC. The food was awesome. Happy Holidays!

I love me some Friday

I've got a busy weekend ahead. Tomorrow I'm working 8-12, tomorrow night is Jason's company Christmas party. Sunday is Church, laundry, and cleaning. Somewhere in there I need to scrapbook. I still have 5 projects to make for Lisa and another lady at work asked me to make a book for her too. I do more crafts for others than I do for myself. Maybe once I get my Christmas gift it'll get me back in the groove.....

Oh Sweet Blog!

I'm so happy to be back. Today was the first day in 3 days I have felt normal. When I was young I never had PMS, now I am a hormonal train wreck for 3-4 days a month. It's insane. Amy warned it would be like this, and it is! Guess what Jason did today? Bought Tampons, yup, all by himself. He went to the store before he picked me up from work. I told him we could wait until I got off work, but he was cool with it. It's amazing the man could watch children come out of my body, yet not buy Tampax. Now he has.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I have internet

Woo-Hoo! The at&t guy is still doing the cable, but we the net. Praise the Lord! I can't wait to start updating my blog, my myspace, paying my bills online. The world is in the palm of my hands again! Yippee!

AGH!

I have been trying to upload pics but blogger is being a butthead! We put up our tree today!! It's so pretty, all silver and blue. It's a nice ending to a STRESSFUL day. AT&T was supposed to come out and install our cable and Internet, but they are lacking brains and messed it up. So they are coming Wednesday. Thankfully I can get (sporadic) wi-fi connections from my neighbors :)

This weekend went by so fast. I was home sick with Jonathan on Thursday and Friday. Saturday Jason and I went Christmas shopping while Savannah was at a b-day party and Jonathan rested. Then today has been hanging out and doing Christmas stuff. It's been a really nice weekend. I'm so excited for Dec. and 2008.

Once I get my net full time I'm going to revamp my blog, so don't think this weird blue stuff is staying. It'll just take me awhile to get it how I want it. I can't wait to get back in the swing of blogging. I didn't realize how much I missed it. Happy Monday to all!

I can't wait for Christmas!!

What The Holidays Mean to You
For you, the holidays are about generosity. You give as much as you possibly can to friends, family, and charity.
You celebrate the holidays in an over the top style. If something is cute, you'll buy it. People end up with a lot of gifts from you - and your house is like a holiday wonderland, full of decorations.
During the holidays, you feel magical. You love all of the decorations and how happy people are. You like to sit back and take it all in.
You think the holidays should be nostalgic and sweet. The holidays bring out your inner child.
Your best holiday memories are warm and intimate. You remember special moments more than gifts or parties.
What Do the Holidays Mean to You?

Football is over! Today was the last game. Woo-Hoo! I will now have my Monday, Thursday, and Friday nights back. Yee-haw. Not to much else going on right now. Counting down until vacation.....

So, not much is new. Had a birthday, you know you're old when most people forget about it. If you remembered then you are not one of the most people, don't e-mail and say "I called!" My mom, dad, and husband remembered guess that's all that matters. Didn't do much for it, the joys of being poor. oh well.

Worked a lot this week. Actually every week I average 43-45 almost every week. Not as bad as the 50-55 at the CS, but agh. If I could stay in my cube and do my job, I'd be in heaven. Why do people have to come into my space with their stupid rules? To many chiefs and not enough Indians, our whole team wants to walk out most of the time. That is why we live for Happy Hour, only 5 more days until happy hour....

Savannah turned 6 on Wednesday. Yup 6! She got a little grey kitten she has named Sara. Sara is a typical cat. She scratches, hisses, and purrs. She's mean as hell to Ki. Poor dog doesn't know what to do. Six....ya, I'm getting old ;)

Thursday was our 11 year wedding anniversary. We didn't do much. Jason inundated me with love e-mails all day. Then we went to dinner. It was nasty, at least we know never to go there again! All in all it was a good day. Here's to another year..or ten...or twenty :0)

Better jet, got laundry to finish, and kids to manage.

Happy Birthday To Me

I Miss Blogging

I miss blogging. By the time I get here to update, it seems so unimportant. Which I guess means that it is....Anyway sickness at my house Jonathan was sick all last week, then Jason, now Savannah. She doesn't go back to school until Tuesday so hopefully she'll be all cleared up by then. Pray I don't get sick period, I can't take any more time off work. Speaking of, I'm totally counting down until my vacation. I've never had one. I left the CS at 11 months and 27 days so I missed out on vacation there, then you have to be at CW for 6 months earn it. I'm scheduled to take it the week of Turkey day and I can't wait. Work has been stressing me out lately they change stuff everyday. It's insane. Before I didn't have to be apart of it, but they have now decided that I will be one of two people that picks up the slack for a girl on maternity leave. Oh joy. She better come back soon.....

Jason got hired full time at RR. We are super excited. He received a 50% pay increase, and gets his own office. He really enjoys it there. It's a great company. He hasn't had any complaints, they are good to him and him to them.

Jonathan's team lost again on Saturday ;0( They are 0-3 now. They are not motivated, or aggressive. Forget playoffs and super bowl, I just hope they win one!

Savannah is doing well. We have a parent/teacher conference int he morning. I'm interested to learn more about her behavior at school.

I hate it.........

.................when you have a bad day for no reason. I feel like crap. I wanna cry and I don't know why. I just wanna lay in bed with Jason's arms around me and let the world go to hell.

There's no place like home....

My baby sister is moving back to Kansas. She misses "home" and really needs the support of our parents to be able to do the single mom thing. She leaves 2 weeks from tomorrow. Anyone who knows us, knows we've had our ups and downs. However, she is still my sister. My best friend, the shoulder I cry on. I'm going to miss her so much. More than words could ever explain. I'll be alone here in Texas again. I miss my family. My nieces will be gone. I've been so blessed to be able to watch Ashyra grow up into a toddler. To get to know Elize better. Now they will be 8 hours away. The only upside to all of this is My momma is coming! In 2 weeks(SOB, SOB) our parents are coming down to help Misty and the girls move back to Kansas. I haven't seen my mom since Easter 2006, so I'm very excited.

Bad, Worse, Worst

BAD: The allergies hit everyone really hard. All 4 of us. It's like Ragweed Central outside or something. We were all surviving on benadryl and zyrtec when....

WORSE: Savannah's eardrum ruptured. Yes, ruptured. With no warning. She just woke up with a bloody ear and pillow. She didn't even complain about it hurting before she went to bed. Nor did she come get us when it happened, she just said it "popped" in the middle of the night. Poor baby, then when we get her to the doctor she also has an upper respiratory infection and shin splits. Jeepers...

Worst: Everyone knows I have this tooth that has been bothering me. It was a wisdom tooth with a huge cavity in it. Yesterday it got so bad, I was dry heaving from the pain, and I felt like my eardrum was about to rupture from the pressure. I begged the DDS to get me in b/c I was in so much pain. They did, Praise the Lord. BUT, it was a huge ordeal getting the tooth out. They pulled it regular and the top break into a bunch of pieces b/c it was so decayed. Which left the 3 roots still in there. Wisdom teeth roots are not straight, they are curved at the bottom, so they had to drill, cut and corkscrew those puppies out. What takes a normal person 10 minutes, took almost an hour and a half for me. It didn't really hurt at the time, because of the Novocaine, but today has been awful. Praise God for Vicadon, which with my insurance was only .80. Woo-Hoo!

Don't get used to it!

I just stopped by here to check my e-mail real quick so I thought I'd say HELLO!

It's been a long weekend, not in a bad way though. We've all been sick off and on. I say sick loosely. It's allergies. They are killing us. I left work early Friday because I felt awful. I finally got meds on Saturday, but they knock my behind out out. I still have tons of laundry to do after my 3 hour( yes, THREE) nap. I feel like I could sleep for 8 more hours. Savannah and Jason have it too. Not Jonathan though. Weird.

I hope everyone has a great week:) Love Ya!

Howdy~!

Long time no post. So what else is new. Not to awfully much going on. School, work, home, cleaning. The norm. The kiddos started school on the 27th. They are both doing well. Savannah's teacher said she is "very smart and cooperative". I agree with very smart, but cooperative? Why do they behave wonderful for everyone else? I have a meeting with Jonathan's teacher on Tuesday. She said "no major concerns". We'll see. He starts football on Monday. It got pushed out a week. He is chomping at the bit to go. Hopefully it will poop him a little, the boy never sleeps!

Please say an extra prayer for our family. We have 3 major decisions we are pondering right now. Nothing life threatening or horrible. Just little changes we are thinking of making to/for our family.

I miss blogging, I may finally break down and get internet at the house. We'll see. Jason and I spend so much more time together and with the kids without it. I love that.

Geuss who's back...back...back...back again...again..

Only for a little bit. I have to pick up the kids from daycare in 30 minutes. Wheew! Is all I have to say. Since my last blog so much has happened, yet now it seems unimportant. Not that it was really that important to begin with. First, I want to give a shout out to Me-ma and Nana. These two woman single handily saved me this month!! My mom(me-ma) bought all the kids clothes for school! Woo-hoo! And to make it even better my fabulous mother in law(a.k.a. Nana) bought all their school supplies! I am so blessed!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart ladies. I love you!

Another blessing: When we moved into our apartment. Jason took off his ring b/c his fingers tend to swell in the heat. Well, then I lost it! We were both so sad. After much prayer, I FOUND IT! In the bottom of a laundry basket that was housing misc. junk from the old house. Go figure! I never would have looked there normally, but something drew me to it! So after a month of being ring less, and arguing about buying another one, the original is back on his hand. WOO-HOO!

As mentioned above my kids are getting ready for school. I'm excited yet sad. My "baby" is going to kindergarten. Yes, kindergarten. Sob...sob...sob....
Jonathan's hair is soooo long. I need to post pics. They both are so big. I'm the mom of big kids. Crazy.

This weekend my sister is keeping the kids overnight. Praise the Lord! Jason and I will get some alone time. I can't wait. We are planning on cooking dinner together, then perhaps a movie...we'll see!

I got a new job, sorta. Same company, just a new job within my team. Instead of impacting loans, I "package" the loans to send to the investor. I am their contact when they have questions regarding their loans that we service. Lots of spreadsheets!! I can't wait to learn more.

Going scrappin next weekend. I haven;t scrapped in SO long. I'm hoping to get some pics from Melibelle to scrap. You know the ones where I look HOT in my striped sweater.

Is this enough for ya'll? I know you miss me, who wouldn't??? I miss you too! Love, hugs, and all that mushy stuff!

HI!

I'm still here. Just busy. I can honestly say I LOVE not having a computer in the house. We spend more family time together, Jason and I spend more time together. It's an all around good thing. We don't plan on getting it hooked up any time soon.

All is well in Hallock Land. The kids are waiting for school to start. Savannah is dying to start buying supplies and clothes for school. Jonathan is just hanging in until football season starts. He's playing tackle this year instead of flag. Can we say STOKED! Yea, he is!

If you need me e-mail me at work or the the cell-y. Peace out!
