Got Stress? Got Boobs?

I can not even put into words how incredibly stressed out I am. 6 kids will do that to you. I don't know how they did it in the "olden days". I guess b/c they were all out farming or something. Anyone need anything plowed?? I have free workers!! I have zero extra time in my day. Almost every waking moment is encompassed by something or someone. Everyone wants a piece of me. I'm sure Jason and Misty feel this way too. But, this is my blog so it's my pity party. Savannah broke Jonathan's book shelf, I broke our couch, Anthony wrote on the wall, that is just this weekends destruction.

So my good, great, fabulous friend Staci got me this super cool shirt:



It says angel down the side with a very accurate meaning of the word up at the top. I have apologize for the girls, I'm not quite sure why they look so out there but they do. In fact, they were so out there that I choose not to wear this shirt to church. On a super happy note, I went to my WW meeting, and I lost 6 lbs this week! Can you stinking believe it! My girl lou lost 3.8. We totally rock. AND that is after a Sonic grilled chicken sandwich last night.

I got promoted!

Today I was promoted to Store Manager. I felt kinda bad at first b/c that means the old store manager had to lose her job, but like my district manager pointed out she wasn't doing her job. Nothing I could do about that. I really like my job, and I think the store had potential to be super successful. Plus, of course it's a pay raise:)

Nothing exciting....

It's Thursday and I'm finally not feeling like I'm starving everyday! You don't realize how much you eat until you join weight watchers and you have to pay attention to it! I know it will work though, I just have to stick to it. I have a doctors appt tomorrow to get my thyroid checked again. All 6 of the children are doing well. Ashyra has her first teeth! Finally. Jeepers I mean she is 11 months old. Jonathan and Elize both earned free Rangers tickets by being good citizen's. Muffins with mom, the school carnival, and field day are all coming up in the next few weeks. I hope I get a chance to go to some of them. This weekend the outdoor pool at the YMCA opens. woo-hoo! That will be the most fun!

Good Morning!

Another day begins. I feel much better this morning. I had to have Jason get me some excedrin around 6:45, but the throbbing has subsided(for now) and I'm off to work. I can hear Anthony and Savannah giving Misty a hard time already this morning, so say a little prayer for her today I think she will need it!!!

Update

Oh what a day. I'm so glad it's over. All day I have felt like poo. Headache and nausea, it was awful. I even came home from a work a little early. Jonathan went back to the plastic surgeon today. He has a few small warts, that he may have to have removed. I'm not really thrilled with the thought of surgery again, but I don't want them to get as bad as they were. Savannah also went to the doctor today. They are going to look at her gums again in a few months to see if they will need to do the grafting. Hopefully all this will get done before the Insurance runs out:)

Death Becomes Jason.......

GRRRR......

As most of you know I have a boss from you
know where. She's not a bad person, she just has ZERO work ethic. We are supposed to get to work at 9:30. Well, she never shows. So at 11:10 I finally call and WAKE HER UP! That's right folks she was still asleep. She rolls in at 11:45, goes to the bank, and picks up lunch. Well her sandwich is wrong, so she decides to take it back. Fine. She calls 30 minutes later, and says she's going to go to lunch with her mom! Agh! She doesn't get back until 3:20! Yes, she missed over half the work day. Will she write in on her time card? Nope. She leaves for at least 2-3 hours a DAY, and never writes it down. She was out all day Saturday, and almost all day Monday and Teusday. Will she write in she was there? Of course. What goes around comes around, that's all I have to say.

Thursday's hot mom is a 2 for the price of one. Aren't you lucky :)

Almost the weekend, if only it were a time of rest. On Saturday Misty and I are having a yard sale with a lady from church, I have to work from 10-2, both Savannah and Jonathan have birthday parties from 12-2, and A and D will be here to spend the weekend with their kiddos before he heads back to Iraq. Um, can we say busy??

I found out that these are the 2 vet schools Jason is looking into: KSU and A&M
Neither of which are in Ft.Worth :( Sigh.....

Me the wife of a Doctor????

Well, an animal doctor. Jason is thinking about going to vet school. Anyone who knows him knows that he is a total lover of anything with 4 legs, scales, fins, or fur. He almost has an assoc., he needs to do some pre-reqs before he can apply to vet school. Then it's 4-5 years of school after that. Deep Breathe.... I honestly don't know if I'm up for it. Moving again, being super poor while he's in school, me having to support the family. I can't hardly stand the thought of it. I don't want Jason to give up his dream job, but jeez isn't there an easier way??

On a happy note, this is todays hot mom. Isn't she smokin???

Girl's Night

Tonight was Mommy and Savannah night. While I like my job, I truly hate being away from my kiddos. I hate that I'm not going to the Zoo with Jonathan on Friday, I hate that I don't plan and cook dinner for my family, I hate that when Savannah hurt her mouth I was not able to pick her up from school. I hate it. I feel like I miss so much. I just miss being with them. Anyway, I decided I would do nights out with them. Tonight was Savannah's night out. We went to Barnes and Noble, Olive Garden and Target. Savannah's 3 favorite places! At Olive Garden we sat at the bar and she had Cherry Sprite and White Noodles(aka Sprite w/ grenidine and Fettuccine Alfredo!)

Our Cable was out yesterday :(

It was so stinkin hot here in Texas that it darn near shut everything down! The had rolling brown outs, where they shut down everything for 15 minutes to save energy. Well, we didn't lose AC(thank goodness since it was 100!) but we did lose cable internet for the evening. It was awful, I had to spend all night with my hunny, instead of on the puter! Oh darn! Wink;)

Anyway, Savannah went back to the DDS, he said she is healing up nicely, BUT they may have to graft skin from the roof of her mouth to her upper gums because she lost so much flesh!! EWWW! She goes back in a week to get it checked again. Praise God for Tricare!!

Easter Part Duex

Wheew! The day is almost done. It's has been a fun, loud, crazy, eventful day. We made it to church only 7 minutes late. Not bad considering we had 6 kids and 8 adults to get there. After church we took family photos and then did an egg hunt. Okay, "we" didn't the kiddos did. Then it was hang time until dinner was ready. Which in eveyones opinion was great :) Yeah, me!! Now it's time to wind down, get children bathed and ready for bed.

I am wiped out. We have been going non-stop. I worked today until 2:30, then mom needed to go finish her Easter shoppng for the kids. She bought each child(yes, all 6) a new outfit. And she got the older 3 Bibles for their baskets. Those children need for nothing I swear! Tomorrow Lou and her family are comimg over. So we will have 5 kiddos hunting for eggs. Oh the photo ops to be had:) I can't wait.

That's Savannah's favorite saying to describe anything new, cool, exciting or just plain neat. Today was lots of neat! Mom took Misty and I shopping for our "Easter outfits". We went to DOTS,( www.dots.com) which is like the best store in the world. Then Tiffany and I were supposed to go to a PC party but Jason and Pop-Pop didn't get home till 7:30 with Jonathan's new bunk bed. Oh yea, he is so stoked!!! So I took Tiffany to get her first pedicure as her late birthday gift. She was pumped. She has a cute little french mani on her toes now.

Busy Weekend Ahead

It is going to be a crazy weekend. Tomorrow we go to Hillsboro to pick up Carolyn and Anthony. Then I have to go to work. Then while I'm at work, my mom, step-dad, and (other) sister will arrive in town. They will be here for 4 days. The kids are super excited. We are going to have a house full! Oh yea did I mention I invited 7 other people over for Easter dinner. The answer to your question is yes, I am crazy.

Half Price Burger Night at Sonic....YIPEE!

Anyone who knows me knows I love Sonic! It is the BEST place in the whole world. Tonight Misty had to work, and Jason was at Hood, so I decided this is what the kids and I would have for dinner. Yummy! Anyway, today I convereted Melibelle to the blog world. YEA! I am trying to get lou to get one as well. They are so fun.

Another Week Begins.....

Today we were visited by the case worker and CASA(which means child advocate something). They took pics of the house, and asked a bunch of questions. I'm very confidant that we will get the children. We will know for sure on Wednesday.

Savannah went back to the DDS. He said her gums look good and are healing up well. Thank goodness. Jonathan on the other hand has a huge blister on his thumb. He decided to put paper in a candle to see what would happen. Hmmmm, FIRE! His thumb is pretty painful, so I hope and pray he learned his lesson.

Moved

Well, my scraproom is no more. It's all back in my bedroom. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

2 days in a row, WOW!

Tomorrow the CASA lady and the case worker are coming to "inspect" our house. You know what that means? GOODBYE scrap room! I will be putting Savannah back in her own room so that Carolyn and her can share, and Jonathan and Anthony can share. We should find out for sure on Wednesday if we get them. I hope so, I hate the thought of them being in foster care :(

I'm still figuring out this blog thing, so don't be surprised if it's different every time you come. I really want to figure out how to do banners. I think that would be so cool. HTML is so confusing to me! I did figure out how to get our family picture in the profile part, yea Angel!

I'll leave you with a photo of Savannah's mouth, she feel at school on Friday and had to make emergency visits to the ER and pediatric dentist! Her gums were ripped open and he had to stitch them back together. Oh joy! She was awake the whole time. They used only novicane. Jason had to hold her down while the Dr. used a "fish hook"(Jason's words) to pull the gums back together. Glad I missed out on that one.

Well, I have finally decided to join the blog world. I know, I said I wouldn't! It's so hard to make sure everyone gets info. So now I am taking the burden off me, and putting it on you! Ha!
