Oh how time flies when your having fun. Life is busy, crazy, and pretty wonderful. Jason passed his Chemistry test. What a relief. He said he even understood most of it. If he can pull a C in lecture and an A in lab(which he loves), all will be well at semesters end. This is pretty much the only class he has/is dreading during this whole college ordeal. He can't wait to take A and P next semester. Since he has already taken most of his Gen Eds, he will start his interesting class sooner and is pretty stoked!
We finally got our VA money. Sort of! Thanks to a heads up e-mail from my DF Tara, I found out they(being VA) decided to cut emergency checks for people who have not received benefits because of the processing delay. I had everything ready and knew exactly where to go Friday morning. Wouldn't you know, they wanted more! Go figure! We had to wait a little while longer while they verified his info, but we were in and out in an hour and a half. Which is super quick for gov't work!!
We paid October and Novembers rent, paid our regular bills and still had some left over. Let's say it together...Woo-sah... Jason bought me a new laptop since Harrison destroyed my other one, we bought a futon and high top table for the family room, and then a bunch of little stuff we needed and some we didn't :O)
Like these lovely candle holders below. I'm normally a PartyLite whore and will not use any other candle product, HOWEVER these puppies could not be passed up! Everyone needs orange globe votive holders! Plus, They were only a buck fifty. Yes, $1.50! I went to a breast cancer charity sale and everything was super cheap! The candle holders included. They still have the stickers from TJ Maxx on the bottom and they were 4.99, 6.99, and 7.99 new! And I got them for a buck fifity!

I will TRY and post pics of the family room tomorrow. It needs a little TLC before it can have it's photo op!! Tomorrow is grocery day, laundry day AND I'm making a cake and birthday dinner for my neice, so we'll see how it goes!
