Freakin Out

Yes, freakin like no other. You'd think I'd never had a baby before. I'm petrified of the pain. I'm not quite sure why. I was never afraid before. Then once I get past the thought of the pain. I keep thinking that I actually have to bring this baby home!! Care for him, nurse him, lose sleep b/c of him...it makes my head swim! I am excited too. I can't wait to see what he looks like, hold him close to me, and smell his clean baby scent. I never had these type of conflicting emotions with the other 2 children. I'm not sure what my deal is.

I am so excited for you! It's almost baby time! Of course your nervous - being a mommy is the hardest yet most rewarding job(privelege) you'll ever have! & you're a "little older" now with a little more experience - so we know the older we get... the more we're aware that there's so much we don't know. Unlike when we were 20 something and knew we already knew it all...hehe - stay strong girl... u'r a great mommy-just ask u'r kids.

I'm sooo excited for you!!! the pain is only momentary for such an extraordinary gift. and now you actually have "help" as in Jonathon and Savannah. That may relieve some stress for you. Good luck!!!! be sure to let us know asap!!

Take a deep breath, everything will be just fine. It's last minute jitters. Big hugs, I wish you were in Texas and I could come see you in the hospital.

Girl - you beter put your chin up and stop acting like a wussy! God has given you this gift, and He would not put you through something you could not handle! You can do it and you will do it well!

I agree with April. It's because you're older and more wise to what it will be like PLUS it has been awhile since you had a baby, so naturally it's scary. You will be the strong woman and great mom you always are and have been and then you'll have a gorgeous baby boy to love.
