I'm feeling super funky. No rhyme or reason. Just plum funky. I think work is part of it. I'm super stressed and super busy. Then shit keeps popping into my head. No reason for it. Just pop..pop..pop... I must it admit sometimes i hunt it down. It's hard to stay away though. I must challenge myself to stay away. Hunting it down does NO good. No good I say. It's been frustrating me lately though. Hence the popping into my head and the funky mood. I'd like to run it off, but I don't even feel like running. It's been 2 days since I ran and 4 days since my last long run. I'm going to be hating life after my next 3 miler.
I'm super frustrated with VA too. Seriously, could they please stop fucking with our money?? Oh, and feel free to answer a fucking phone every now and then. I'm ready for Jason to quit school and go back to work. This shit is ridiculous. It really is.
Harrison has turned into a full fledged BRAT. He was totally bullying the kids in the waiting room yesterday. He pushed a girl off a chair and pushed down a boy who was in his way. Good Times I say(very sarcastically) He hits, screams, throws food and is just plain rotten. I swatted him on his bottom last night....and he laughed at me. Ya, he went to bed at 7:03 p.m. I wasn't up for that crap.
I can almost read your mind right now, " oh God, what's wrong with Angel, this is so unlike her". I'm fine. I truly am. Just a TAD on the stressed and frustrated side. Honestly, I even thought about having a drink. I SO don't believe in drinking to make yourself feel better though. That's how alcoholism starts, and since my parents are 2 of the biggest drunks I know. I tend to stay away from the stuff most of the time.
Okay, enough crappy Angel. I think I'm going to go to bed early so I can get up and run in the morning. I have .6 to my goal and it's being very stubborn about coming off, so an extra long run oughta do it.

I can totally understand your funk. The only advice I can give is to NOT search it out. Only when you can totally let go of it, will it start to feel better honey. (Remind me of that next time I am feeling funky again).
Try not to stop working out because of it, that will only make you feel worse - mentally and physically.
The VA - SUCKS - write letters to your congressmen, senators, be persistent. I can't believe they treat those that have fought for our country this way. Not looking forward to our own fight in the coming years.
Harrison - just a phase. This too shall pass, but be consistent with him.
LOVE YOU!
What Tara said..ditto! Also, I know it rarely happens to you but PRAY when life is getting you down like this. Prayer can take care of all the situations you are facing. Verses for the day:
"'Have faith in God,' Jesus answered. 'I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, "Go, throw yourself into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins'" - Mark 11:22-25
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."
- Phillipians 4:6
"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.' "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' " And the Lord said, 'Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?'" - Luke 18:1-10
"Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always."
- 1 Chronicles 16:11
"I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father." - John 14:13-14
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him." - 1 John 5:14-15
Don't let this keep you down. You need to listen to the song Stand Up by Remedy Drive. This song always reminds me of the hope I have in Jesus.
Also - April 18th you said you'd never skip 3 days again. Get up and go today! It'll improve your mood by getting those endorphins going.
I will NOT have you disparaging my precious godson!!
